A firsthand cultural immersion experience in Chile aimed at providing support to local Chilean language teachers of English, students and schools willing to expose their students to native speakers of English in order to improve their second language competence mainly in oral and speaking skills.

Our Teaching Assistant in Chile program begins with an intensive one-week orientation and cultural immersion program in Santiago and continues with a ten-week teaching assistant placement. Both segments include room and board (two meals per day) with welcoming caring Chilean host families that will introduce you to local culture.

This cultural experience is much more than an excellent opportunity to discover and explore Chile. It is a true learning experience to develop mutual cultural understanding by daily contact with students at school and by sharing daily life with a Chilean host family.
