Family Tutor

Share your language while you experience living in a new culture. Stay with a Chilean host family for up to 3 months and help its members improve or learn English. This reciprocal program is aimed at native speakers of English with good social and organizational skills willing to live, share, teach and interact with locals.

Your contribution

You are expected to contribute 15 hours of formal or informal English language instruction per week at your designated host family as a tutor to one or more members of the family group.

Placements

All over Chile. Final placement subject to availability.

Program length

From 4 to 12 weeks maximum

Program dates

All year round except from mid-December, January and February.

Housing & Meals

Host family, individual room with two meals per day.

Applications

All year round, at least ten weeks before program start date or arrival in Chile

Online, phone or skype interview or through in country partners
