Be between 18 to 50 years old (older applicants could be accepted upon request)

What do families and Experiment Chile expect from you?

Families and EIL Chile expect that you have a clear commitment to your program dates and program responsibilities. All families also expect someone respectful, open, easy to adapt and flexible to interact not only with them but also with other friends in a relaxed way that reflects a true interest to be immersed with the locals in daily activities.
Chileans love sharing and integrating people, be prepared!

Arrival & Departure dates

Arrival in Chile: Thursday or Friday before program start date

Departure from host family: Saturday after program end date

Placement and arrival details confirmation

They will be sent 3 weeks in advance maximum before program start date

Passport / Visa / Travel

Hold a valid Passport for at least 6 months after program end date.

Visa Not needed for US, NZ, Canada and UK citizens (tourist entry valid up to 90 days)

All participants must arrive in Santiago International Airport (SCL) and have a return flight

Ask for further entry details for other nationalities

Health Insurance

Not included in program cost

Must show proof of health & accident insurance coverage without limitations for the entire length of the program and for any pre-existing conditions, plans on travelling in or outside Chile during program length and/or for any accidents that may occur derived from taking part or practicing adventure sports or high risk physical activities.
